I know what you mean. I had a similar problem last year with my DS (year 4 then). His teacher thought it was good idea to do a reward system- and then charge the kiddies reward points to use the toilet! If you didn't have any- you couldn't go. Detention for not having a sharpener barrel to collect waste, and spelling words home like Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (yes, I goggled it!) Talk about short man syndrome. The school said they would look into it, but it was close to the end of the school year, and nothing was done. Frustrating. The teacher you speak of sounds neglectful. I would definately be getting other parents in on it and calling Ed Dept. A letter signed by each parent would be hard to ignore. Good luck xoxo
good grief hon, no wonder you're so up in arms over it, I would be too!! Joshie's teacher isn't particularly competent (she's dippy as hell) but isn't anywhere near as bad as Jess's. I'd definitely go to the press, hard thing to do but something has to be done and no-one's obviously prepared to just do it! good luck xx
I'm so glad you are one of the winners because I love your work. I signed up for your posts so we might be friends somewhere along the way. I also love Graphic 45 paper and I can tell you do, too. You are something that I long to be and that is a good photograhper. It sure helps if one is using good photos but at least I don't cut the top off everyone's head any more. LOL I hope you get that teacher straightend out. Seems like each kiddo has one of the bad ones at some point and it is our job to make it better. I'm looking forward to visiting with you as the year goes by. Blessings Gayla Templeton in Kansas USA
